Capacity Building for HIV Surveillance

The Kenya National AIDS and STI Control Programme (NASCOP) develops short courses on HIV surveillance to equip our health professionals to implement HIV Surveillance activities. The short courses are spearheaded by the Strategic Information, Research and Innovation (SIRI) unit at NASCOP. They are available free of charge through eLearning and offer a Kenya Ministry of Health approved certificate of completion with Continued Professional Development (CPD) points. The short courses are open to all health care providers, health managers, implementing partner staff, community health volunteers and students in health sciences institutions. We currently have two HIV Surveillance eLearning courses focusing on HIV Case Based Surveillance and HIV Recent Infection Surveillance. Click on each course page to register and start learning.
